John Paul Garrison, PsyD, MBA is a licensed psychologist, psychotherapist, and psychological assessment expert. Dr. Garrison's therapy specialties include stress management, treatment for mood disorders, anxiety disorders, couples’ therapy, and trauma/PTSD. Currently, Dr. Garrison also offers executive coaching. He has extensive experience in assessments for legal issues, drug/alcohol, mood problems, and any other concerns related to mental health.
Dr. Garrison has specialized training in detecting deception and nonverbal behaviors. He has been designated as an expert witness in psychology in multiple courts in Georgia. Dr. Garrison earned a Psy.D. in clinical psychology from the Georgia School of Professional Psychology (GSPP), an M.S. in clinical psychology from Georgia Southern University, and a B.S. from UGA. He trained for two years through the Emory School of Medicine at Grady Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Garrison is a published author and currently conducts psychological evaluations, psychotherapy, and couples therapy. Some of Dr. Garrison's interests include criminology and forensic psychology. He has received specialized training in counter-terrorism. Dr. Garrison has extensively studied the language and culture of South Korea for over a decade.
